Hypothesis

Sustainable highway network and safe road transport system

Objectives:

To build sustainable, safe and quality highway infrastructure and integrated modern public transport system for the socio-economic development of the people through highway repair, renovation and maintenance and development and expansion. The Department of Road Transport and Highways has been working tirelessly to achieve the goals of Vision-2021 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and to implement the Timely Action Plan 2041. The highway network and public transport system are continuously improving through timely initiatives, intensive monitoring and supervision and application of modern technology. As a result, the movement of people and transportation of goods has become smooth and easy.
